SIS x Outdoor Classroom at Imara School: An Outdoor Learning Hike!
Sunday | 7:00 – 10:30 AM
Imara School | Limited Spots
Step outside for a morning where the trail becomes the classroom. In collaboration with Outdoor Classroom, this experience invites children and their parents to explore nature, movement, and learning in a shared outdoor setting.
Children hike, climb, and participate in guided nature activities designed to build observation, language, ecological awareness, and emotional resilience. At the same time, adults gather for a thoughtful conversation on how children learn, grow, and develop through outdoor experiences.
Kids explore. Adults connect. Everyone learns.
What to expect:
- Guided Nature Hike: Children head out on the trail with Outdoor Classroom educators.
- Outdoor Learning Activities: Interactive exercises that build curiosity, observation, and ecological awareness.
- Adult Conversation Circle: A facilitated discussion for parents about outdoor learning and child development.
- Free Play & Reflection: Children return for unstructured play and a shared group reflection.
