Introduction to Mahjong & East Round Passport

This foundational session introduces new players to the essentials of mahjong, from the tiles and their meanings to the fundamentals of table play.

Participants will learn the tile suits, Winds, Dragons, Flowers & Seasons, followed by table setup and wall building. The session then covers melds — Chows, Pungs, Kongs, Pairs & mixed combinations — alongside core table etiquette and terminology.

The session concludes with an introduction to the East Round Passport, where participants apply their learning to build hands through guided practice.

No prior experience required. All materials provided.
